Strange matter.

Hello everyone, I am new here. We started with our chickens 18 months ago and have 12 beautiful hens. They give us between 10 and 12 eggs every single day. Today, my son sent me a picture of one of our eggs that a lady bought. It has strnage matter inside it which looks like parts of an embryo, however we do not have a rooster and the girls have never had anything to do with a rooster. Hoping someone can tell me what it is. ty

The last thing I would ever be accused of is being sane...

@LeanneAttard that has nothing to do with a rooster or an embryo, no worries... it is commonly called a 'meat spot'... a hiccup in the reproductive tract... harmless, but looks gross... one of the side effects of farm fresh eggs...
Candling eggs before sending them out might help you catch imperfections like those, otherwise just warn your customers that chickens are not machines and not all eggs will be perfect...
