Strange mucus like substance coming from chickens backside.

Hi guys yet again there is another problem in my flock. Today I found one of my modern games laying like she was asleep. When I picked her up I noticed a strange fluid coming out from her backside. It was also crusted all over her. I searched everywhere but I can't seem to find anything. Does anybody know what this stuff is?

I just checked on her and she died.

I am so sorry for your loss!! could she have been laying internally? is it possible an infection developed inside from that? again I'm truly sorry...

I think she may have been laying eternally but I'm not sure.
