Strange poop question. *Gross pic*

I moved my 1 wk old EE chicks to an empty tote as I cleaned their brooder. When I went to put them back into the brooder, I noticed an odd pile of poop. It looks like a wad of mucus with some poo in the middle of it. Is this normal? I have never seen it before and I have no idea which chick did it. Thanks for any help.

Somewhat strange. I would try to track down the chickie responsible and monitor it. Check for blood too.
