One thing that may help the keep the rumors flowing about some eggs being lower in cholesterol than others is the fact that eggs produced by hens with access to lots of grass, veggies and other "natural" chicken food actually are lower in cholesterol than factory farmed eggs. They're also higher in Omega-3. Since blue and green eggs aren't farmed for the grocery stores, there's a better chance that the hens producing them are getting a diet that's lower in cholesterol, thereby producing eggs that are lower in cholesterol.
