I've been rounding up 'wild' chicken here in town and almost had 3 today, one of the hens escaped over the fence after we had herded them into the yard. The roo was easy once I got the other hen in the pen, he hung out long enough for me to get a dog crate set in his path.
Anyway, do you think the lone hen would try to hang around since I have the rest of her little flock under lock and key? (including the one I caught a few days ago)
I really would like to catch her ASAP, the neighbors really want these critters dealt with last month because they are tearing up everything. One of them gladly helped me heard the chickens into the yard!

Since I caught the first one they've stayed close to the yard but still manage to harass the entire block during the day.

She'll probably continue to hang around her flock. I don't have any recommendations on catching her, though. Good luck.

I borrowed a casting net, usually works with just one or 2.

Cross fingers I can grab her fast because the new neighbor where they've been hanging out is ready to take a pellet gun to them.

I have used a fishing net with a long handle.
