Strange Rooster Behavior. Is this normal??

Yep, but you have to go through the process just to see what is going on. The one iv'e got penned by himself is a prime example, no amount of carrying was going to change his mindset he's just mean. His brother iv'e not had to touch, and his dad took about a week of carrying to stop the foot romance. No matter the methods a stinker is a stinker...always awful when your stinker is the prettiest one though.:(
If you have a cockerel who is really going to be human aggressive, carrying him around is a total waste of time!

True, but during that hormonal stage they do all sorts of dumb stuff. The mind is on one track, carrying just removes the train from the track. Just a semi nice way of saying i'm bigger and I know you're nuts right now but stop it. It usually does work and if it dosen't then the boy is stuck on dumb and not one I will keep. :)
Discussing chicken behavior; no bird carries another bird around to 'embarrass' or 'humiliate' him! And no reasonable bird attacks the giants who bring food, while ignoring flockmates or real dangers.

I just dislike the word dominate, it sounds awful. So no anthropomorphism just verbal adversion.;)
I have an aversion to improper word use....and the misunderstanding that can engender.
(adversion is an obsolete word that actually meant to turn towards, not away from.)
Cock/erels need to be dominated, they can't really be humiliated as that's a human predilection.

I agree....it only puts your face lower and exposes your face they figure out the “ima gonna pick u up” game. When they do they’ll get your arms face blah blah blah
