Yesterday tossed some food out as he jumped down, and it distracted him! This morning I did the same, but he ignored it, so I picked him up and held him as we walked around the yard for a good 10 minutes.
Thank you! Maybe I won’t hold him as a distraction...Oops! I hope that’s all it takes to curb him from aggressive behavior. That’s what I started with too. As he grew he figured out “the pick up game” and would go after my hands. I then started pressing his chest to the ground until he submitted. The behavior continued to escalate so I would hold him upside down. I tried many things because I just loved him. And wanted to work though his juvenile stage. He ripped up my hens bad. The day I watched my husband trying to stomp him as he was being attacked well... that was it. I truly hope you have a sweet Roo. Just use some common sense, wish I would of. Good luck!
