We have just started keeping hens and have had ours for 2 months now.
Over last couple of days one of our Silkie hens has been exhibiting some unusual behaviour that we have not seen her do before. We have 3 Silkie hens in total, this particular one started doing a sort of parading up and down arching her wings back almost like a male mating parade you see grouse doing on a wildlife documentary. She is possibly bottom of the pecking order and youngest.
We also have one other hen which is currently broody but didn't know if this might be having an affect on her
Any advice is most appreciated
