strange things going on wi my ducks help

hi all my mum has to duck which we thought were female . the last couple of weeks one of them has been standing over the other and it looks like they are mating is this what they do?

neither of them have the curly bit thats why we thought they werre female havent any photos at the moment. one is a aylesbury the other is a karki campbell. dont know if this makes a differance

they were born easter s unday
so about 16 weeks?

Is the duck actually up on the back of the of the other duck or is it just standing over it while the other is laying on the ground?

it is actually standing over the duck. does it in the water too.
