My standard size RIR and Black Australorp (I think) have been laying extra large beautiful eggs... that is until today when I went down and found these strange little things!
The one on the left is their normal size eggs and it is a light brown. The 2 in the middle are what I found today and the white one on the right is one of my banty's eggs just for compairson. What the heck?!? Any ideas what might be going on?

I got a teeny blue egg last week. I think it's just their systems going bonkers every once in awhile. I think my teeny egg came from a hen that stopped laying for about a month and this was her first egg. I've got 3 of them in my fridge...from other hens. Just can't seem to crack them open...they are so cute!
