My sister was in her mud room the other night and heard a faint sound at the back door. When she opened the door, this little gal was waiting to come in:

Isn't she cute? She has no idea where she came from.

My brother took her. My sister doesn't keep chickens. I wanted her!

Oh she's GORGEOUS!!! I never have that kind of luck! LOL! Of course, I think I'm the only one in about 15 square miles that even has a chicken! LOL! She must be someone's pet if she came to the backdoor...?

She is pretty - So glad she came to a door of someone who would make sure she gets a good place to live.

I know Shelly. My sister lives in a busy area of town and there's no one with chickens anywhere around her, unless they were stealth chickens.

She's in a happy place now, and not wandering the streets in the snow at night!

She is absolutely gorgeous! I wish someone would let their chickens go around me. LOL But I've only seen one other person within 5 miles with chooks. Go figure!

That is a nice find. Very pretty.

Does anyone know what breed/breeds she might be?

She looks like a silver duckwing auracana hen. You may get some pretty blue eggs from her. Google auracana, and look at pictures. You are very lucky I think.
