Straw and pine shavings in coop?

Does anyone see anything wrong with mixing straw and pine shavings together in the coop? I was just figuring it would give then more things to pick at on the ground and better for the compost pile later.

In horse stalls a mixture of the two is a lot harder to clean out than either one alone. But if that doesn't bother you, like if you just wait til the whole thing gets pooey enough to pitch it all at once, then sure, go for it
