Straw vs shavings

[Ridiculous]

I switched to shavings over concerns about wheat being sprayed with Roundup to hasten ripening. Sooooo-which is worse-Roundup or pine dust?????

Welcome to Backyard Chickens did not realize he had two threads I use white shavings no dust

In my opinion straw matts to easily and is harder to clean. Wood shavings are better, as long as they don't have ceader in them.

Welcome to BYC! The shavings I use are relatively large and not dusty.
I would think round-up would probably be worse than the dust
