So I have moved my broody and the eggs (due to hatch any day now) into the private suite (travel kennel) and I have straw in the bottom. Is it okay for me to leave straw in the bottom for the little chicks, or should I switch to some other bedding? My coop has sawdust pellets that have broken down - is this going to be okay for them once they start leaving the suite?
