I knew they liked to grow wild in ditches, but WOW.
I am planting my first asparagus this year. I have it ordered from Burpee and I can't wait to get it in the ground! and then ... wait some more... hehehe
Lol, I though DH was telling me a "fish story" when he told me about his wild asparagus plot, but then he brought one home; ever since, I'm anxiously waiting for the first week of May and cruising by the cornfield daily, waiting for them to pop. 2 stalks make a meal, easy
Sure beats waiting 2 years from planting them in the garden and playing the waiting game haha
I planted purple ones 2 years ago and might actually get 2 stalks this year lol....
