Stray Cats

my Chickens are 4 months old. I did have one killed by a stray cat, since then I have tried making my fence better, Yesterday saw another one, nearly the size of a possum, Ive had hawks fly over no problem but someones cat causes problems, but I have improved my fence today. I live in the country so I dont know how far someones cat would travel, so Im guessing thier strays.

You may have to go as far as getting a live trap and relocating them.

I'm sorry you've lost a chicken already. Hopefully the bigger your chickens get, the more they'll be able to fend off a cat.
