Stray chicken, how to catch?

We have a stray hen that has been living in our pasture for about 3-4 weeks. We’ve been feeding her and see that she’s living under an old wagon in the brush. We are new to chickens. (Ours are 3 weeks old). How do we catch her and give her a new protected home?

Maybe a cast net you could throw over her? If she's been "stray" for long enough I imagine catching her will be a somewhat difficult task. Like trying ta catch a quail that's flown the ccop.

Wait till dark. A roosted bird is pretty easy to manage. However, she may not like confinement. She may be carrying parasites such as lice or mites. And she WILL NOT like your chicks.

Got to agree with Mrs. K. Be really careful of any diseases that she could carry or anything like mites. And I also agree that she will most likely bully the younger chickens.
