Smokey glanced up at her, and scrambled to his feet, backing away. "Err..." he muttered.

"Are you ok?" she asked softly, sitting.

"I'm fine," he muttered.

"How old are you?" she asked, chuckling.

"I'm almost six moons, I think." mewed the marble furred kit.

Wrenkit padded up to Snowbelly sleepily. "W-where's Poppykit?" she asked.

"In my den" she said, waving her tail towards the still-eating kit. "You become an apprentice at 6 moons" she told Wildkit.

"Oh yay!" exclaimed the exited wildkit. "who's that cat over there?" she pointed to smokey with her tail.

"I don't know, never seen him before" she said.

"should I go and talk to him?" asked the curious kit.
