Fireheart turned a little red. "No I'm not," he said, laughing.

Spottedtail opened her eyes. She looked at Thornpelt. "You, err, hungry?" she asked awkwardly.

"A little i guess..." he said

"I think so" mousefur purred

Fireheart nuzzled her, purring.


Spottedtail climbed out of the nest. "Stay here," she said softly, and jumped lightly down. Her fur got wet almost instantly, but she ignored it, and began looking for prey. Finally, she saw a huge, fat, plump mouse drinking from a small puddle. She crept up behind it, and pounced, killing it with a swift motion. She brought it back to Thornpelt, jumping back off into the nest and shaking off as much water as she could before lay down next to him. She dropped it in front of the handsome cat, nearly touching his nose.
