As smokeyfur and wildsong dropped the kit off at camp, she trotted to the fresh kill pile, pondering what to get.

Snowykit scampered off to find Winterkit.

Smokeyfur purred. He couldn't wait until their kits would finally be here!

She selected a plump mouse and settled down by the warriors den tomea.

Smokeyfur settled down beside her, and started grooming her soft fur.

Leopardfur, Lionheart, Thunderheart, and Barktail returned from the hunting mission, their mouths loaded with fresh kill. They dropped it in the pile, and each picked a small bird, mouse, or squirrel to eat.

Wrentail tended to a scratch Riverkit had got from play-fighting. She backed up slowly. "Not don't you play that rough again!" she laughed as he scampered away.
