Larkkit frowned. Her amber eyes lost their glow.

"w-whats wrong?" sage asked

"I just thought you wanted to join our Clan. We could be good friends, and go hunting together," she murmured sadly, her mind racing.

Wildsong awoke and stretched, looking for her mate and kits. Deadkit was nowhere to be seen, palekit was asleep and she couldn't see moonkit or larkkit. She set off through the forest looking for them.

Smokeyfur met her on the way. "Where are the kits?" he asked urgently.

Wildsong slunk through the forest,her. Beautiful, marbled brown and black pelt blending in and her yellow eyes glowing. She crept up behinspd sage and larkkit, unnoticed. (larkkit looks almost identical to her mother, except wildsong has more brown and yellow eyes)

"b-but my twoleg,i love her! i would love to join,but i cant leave her! i just wish i could join and still be with my twoleg" he said with his head down

"larkkit! Who is this?" wildsong yowled suddenly, launching from the bushes, gesturing to sage with her tail.
Deadkit watched from a tree with interest, unnoticed and silent as the grave.
