She smiled, and started running, her fur soaking wet.

Larkkit's running slowed, and she padded to the fresh kill pile.

Larkkit picked out a small dove, and padded into the nursery, shaking the water from her dark pelt before she entered.

Sagepaw followed her shaking off (whats the nursery?)

(The nursery is where queens and kits hang out. Larkkit's still a kit, so she can't be in the apprentice den yet.)

Larkkit settled down, and started picking the feathers off of the dove.

Larkkit finished her half of the dove. She pushed it towards Sagepaw, and began washing her paws.
