She licked between his broad ears. "just tell me" she purred.

"Just, my fur stands on end every time I see her with Sagepaw... I don't know why," he meowed.

Leafgaze padded over. "I don't like how much time they spend together either"

Sagepaw herd Leafgaze and thought *Wow. I guess they really dont like me*

"It makes me nervous. Sagepaw should be spending his time training if he is to be a warrior"

"Just, my fur stands on end every time I see her with Sagepaw... I don't know why," he meowed.

"it's not him I'm worried about. I think he truly cares for larkkit, and i dont think he intends her any harm. My worry is that he is so much older than her, and that they don't know what their getting into. But you can't criticize the way he acts, after the way you acted when I first met you." she said, flicking her tail and adding an affectionate nuzzle as she remembered his hostile responses to her attempts at conversation.

"well, me and smokeyfur were glued together. And he wasn't even a clan cat!" she pointed out. "I pray to starclan he can fight well." she added.

She giggled impishly. "aahh, the expression on your face when I dragged a scruffy loner in, telling of how he saved me and i loved him, when we were both barely old enough to leave camp, much less fight off foxes." she said, nuzzling her now strong, well groomed and robust mate, purring to him.

Leafgaze laughed, remembering the day well.

"I'm sure it was also comforting that he looked like a glorified rat and refused to talk to anyone." she said sarcastically, giving him a loving lick.

Leafgaze smiled, shaking her head. "No one really trusted him to well. And now he's a great warrior"
