I'm probably over analyzing, but today the power went out and my two Australian Spotteds, Downey (male) and Hemmie (female) had to go without their usual routine. I also had to go on an obligation date and leave them home when they usually get a swim in the bath and get their cage cleaned.
My mom mentioned that she tried to feed them and Downey nipped her really hard. When I got them in the tub, I noticed Downey's poop was on the runny side. They still both acted okay, were happy as always about the clean cage, ate and drank, and were excited for snuggles. During snuggling, Downey regurgitated a bit. If I hadn't been looking, I might not have even caught what happened. He didn't show distress, he just kind of spit up some undigested food. A few minutes later he had a couple of runny poops, but didn't act like he felt poorly.
Hemmie is totally fine.
Downey was the runt when they were babies and had the same tummy problem briefly, but almost didn't make it because he was just a couple of days old. I've got them back in the warm covered cage now, and they're both resting, drinking and preening.
Could he just be stressed after the abnormal day?

Well I will vouch for the fact that ducks like routine, and sounds like they did get a little upset that theirs didn’t go as the norm.
As long as all is back to normal I am sure they are fine. Sounds like they have you well trained lol

He's back to his chipper, vocal self this morning, and he and Hemmie are resting in the sunshine. You're right, @Miss Lydia , they have me PERFECTLY trained!

Yes! true chickens get stressed and once they get stressed levels on their tiny heart and heart range go above 400+ their stress go into stomach . mostly chickens pass white clear watery less fecal poop . this is clear indication or symptom of stress .

the best way to prevent or deal with it to avoid any stressful encounter .
although, chickens tiny heart work so hard a little stress is dangerous for health ,
stress can also formed ulcers and tumors in the internal parts of the body .

for upset tummy you can use Boiled Rice with some probiotic yoghurt . and add apple cider vinegar to water with a drop of honey it help tighten the poop .

:)

I have so many pics! Lol! And since they don't usually sex them as babies because they're so little, I unintentionally think I have a breeding pair lol Going to need a bigger housing situation! I can't believe these little cuties are critically endangered.

Thanks! Downey has always been the less adaptable of the two. Must be a man thing! They're both eating and drinking and quacking this morning, but I'm keeping an eye on them. We have all of those things if they need them!
