Stringy Crest feathers

We have a Polish hand that is 20 weeks old. This is what her crest looks like. It seems to be so stringing. Is this normal? My daughter was wanting to show her at the fair in 3 weeks. Is there anything we can do to help the feathers?

The sheath has not fallen off the feathers yet. I see pin feathers coming in too.
Hopefully all that will unfurl and be gone in a few weeks.

What % protein would that mix and finisher be?
I would not mess with the sheaths at this time. See what happens over the next couple of weeks.
