Struggling chick please help?

A little update- two more eggs have pipped all by themselves now- the 1st little guy is still where he was before but seems happy enough. I think the fourth egg hasn't made it as there's no sound or movement at all but we are all very encouraged by the three remaining its 00:45 here so hopefully those 3 will be out by the time the kids get up!

Ok it's 5.35am here and these guys haven't made any progress whatsoever since pipping! Number 1 chick has been like this for 15 hours- is it time to step in??

Give it a bit longer. Chick hatches can take up to 36 hours to complete. As long as the chick is not in distress leave it and give it the maximum time to absorb the yolk before letting it hatch.

10am and all 3 chicks are out! Stumbling around and chirping their wee heads off phew! That was the most intense worrying 2 days ever!

Thanks! Yes I've taken some pictures but they're on my iPhone and they won't upload onto here from it. I'll have to download to the laptop and then put them on. The kids are debating some weird and wonderful names like 'Bonker, Ralph, Bumble' hehe
