I had 7 chicks hatch under a broody 2 weeks ago. One that I believe was the last to hatch on 10/31 seems more sluggish & sleepy that the others. It mostly stays in one place chirping, closing it’s eyes a lot & shaking its head. The others all are on the move a lot, pecking, scratching around, etc. This other chick does run over to eat with everyone when I refill the feeder but isn’t as crazy about it, just has a few bites here & there.
I have nutridrench, should I put it in their water? Or should I just wait it out as long as it’s eating? First hatch. They’re still with mom & getting non medicated starter.
I took a video but don’t see that I can upload it.

Some chicks just aren't right when they hatch, consider it a birth defect. Accept that it is not your fault if it doesn't make it. That does not mean you don't try.

I'd put a drop at a time of that nutridrench on the tip of its beak. See if it will drink it. Do not put the liquid in it's mouth or throat, you don't want to drown it. It should kind of gobble it down. The idea is to try to get something high-energy in it to give it the energy to eat and drink plus keep it hydrated. I use hummingbird liquid, same idea. That may be all it takes to get it over the hump.

Good luck!
