Hey all,
We left our little one for maybe 30 minutes to an hour and we came to him not really moving or showing much life. We started some nutri drench right away but it hasn't perked up like before. When we give it a syringe with water its mouth opens really big which frankly it has NEVER done. Anyone out there have any idea what could be wrong? This is so shocking because we got it walking and the wry neck wasn't much of an issue as much anymore. My wife gave it a little bit of strawberry so that's the only thing different than most days. Thanks all for any advise or help

I just wanted to add once we just try and stand him up, his little neck seems to curl under.

Don't give up.

Even if there is improvement, don't stop giving the supplements because the condition will return. Keep it going for about two weeks after the condition has improved.
Thank you. We haven't stopped given it. We were given it Vitamin E and Selenium twice a day just strictly that. Then we came home to this.

OH that's good so you are doing the right things.. . but poor little silkie chick baby, it's sad. Im no chicken expert , far from it.. this is my first year with chickens, Im a mostly duck and goose person. Hopefully someone who can help more will be here soon.
