I have a little chick that came out 5 hours ago and the top if the shell is still stuck to its head. The chick is still wet and not walking around and we have another one that came out an hour later and is doing very well. How do i help this little chick?

So sorry. I hate seeing a non-thriving birdie. You may remove the egg shell from it's head, if it's already hatched and gotten out of the rest of it's shell. I 'm wondering why it's wet, if it's in an incubator with heat lamps. After an hour, it should be dry. You can try gently rubbing under the lamps to see if it can be invigorated. Otherwise, I don't know what else to try. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice, i tryed that but still wet and some of the egg is still on. the chick still isnt walking. I hate to say it but i think its a goner. D'X

It is still sticky after a day. It's walking around, but not dry. I think the liquid inside the egg dried while it was hatching, because it still has small parts of egg stuck to it and it's dried hard. I tried washing it off with warm water and put it back in the bator. I'm not sure what to do with it's head. I don't want to get it too wet or anything. What should I do?

I just went through this with a chick last week. I let it completely dry on there. Once it was out of the bator and under the heat lamp, it dried much quicker. Once the fur fluffed up, I was able to crack the shell away slowly, in small pieces. It all kind of "flaked" off in a day or two. As for it's lack of energy, you might want to mix some sugar or honey in with the water when you put the birds in the brooder box. I hope it pulls through :)
