Stumbling SS help please!!

I’m working on getting videos for you to review right now.
Pullets are around 3 months old
They eat dulmor 20% starter from TSC. About 2 cups of chicken scratch (from TSC) and hand full of wild bird seed they seem to love. Grit is also available

Here is the back story and current events. Last week we lost a SS for unknown reasons she was fine at 4pm that afternoon, the flock went to bed at dark, my daughter went out the next morning to check food and water and found her dead. We assumed snake bite since I found no marks or issues anywhere on her body.

Fast forward to this morning went out for the normal food and water check, and noticed the following of another one of our SS.

She is eating fine, I put some scratch out to see reaction and she ran/waddled over to the pile area and was eating it like the rest of the birds. She then went to the water bowl and was drinking just fine.

During this time I noticed she was stumbling, like a loss of balance, I picked her up and was holding her, and she seems to just want to lay there, no real response like normal, usually she is up and alert today just lay there, literally laying her head down in my lap. She is alert when the dog barked she wanted to get away from me.

Main symptoms I am seeing so far are the tripping over her own feet, wobbly while walking, wings seem to be drooping, I’m not an expert on crop issue but compared to another SS she feels harder (lack of better wording), then the other one, but they ate before I noticed the issue so can not say anything definitive.

I would check the feed and scratch grains immediately for any mold or chemical odor. Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo with a link here. Was she vaccinated for Mareks disease? That would be one possible cause. Dehydration in summer heat can also cause imbalance and wing droop. Look for any possible toxins in the yard, including machinery spills, poisonous plants, or eating something bad. Place her in a basket or crate in the shade and try to prop her with towels, and offer water. Can you tell if one leg is weaker than the other?

I honestly can’t remember if she was vaccinated or not we got these from TSC so I am guessing she was. They are still cooped up not allowed in the yard yet, might be mold we found some a few weeks back and removed it and cleaned the area, I’ll double check on that in a few when I done with the videos. That’s why I put her back in the coop to let her have a cool place to lay down.

Only other non placed item they eat is leaves from an oak tree falling into the run, I wouldn’t think that would hurt her.

I’ll have to watch really close about the leg weaker issue I didn’t notice anything like that.

I would cut back on the scratch and bird seed.
Check her crop first thing in the morning before she eats/drinks, it should be empty. Let us know what you find out on that in the morning.

Photos of her poop when you can catch her in the act too please

I would be inclined to direct dose her with poultry vitamins that contain B2 (Riboflavin) for 2-3 days. My preferred product is Poultry Cell - 1cc per 3lbs of weight.

I agree with checking feed to make sure it's not moldy, etc. At her age, Marek's is something to consider as well.

Could be nutritional if she's eating more treats than she's eating normal nutritionally balanced feed.
