Stunned guinea after being hit by a car

I am so sorry to hear about your guinea!!!! What a traumatic experience!!!!

She’s perked up a little this morning, eating and drinking a bit now. She was calling out to the others very quietly.. I let her out for 10 mins to see if she’d walk around, she did but she quickly got tired and sat down under a bush. She’s back in the garage with a heat lamp over her at the moment.
I rang the vets and they said they could give us pain killers but they couldn’t do much else.
They said it’s best keep her warm and make sure that she’s eating and drinking.

Sorry she got hurt, glad to hear she’s doing a little better! She may need a bit more rest and TLC in her little hospital ward....

She passed away in her sleep the other day sadly.
She did seem to be getting better though, out running around with the others.
We’ve put some fencing around the gate that they got out on the road from.

I’m so sorry to hear that she passed away. At least she didn’t feel any pain. You did the best you could for her.
