Hi,

I have 5 chicks which are all roughly a month old at this stage (give or take a week). One of the chicks is visible smaller and not growing very fast at all. Now noted it is a bantam wyandotte, but not have any feathers like the others is a bit odd when they are all the same age.

It does eat the same, but it appears to stay under the heat light and less energetic.

Any ideas what might be wrong?
have attached a photo for reference

It could be failure to thrive, when the body doesn't absorb nutrients from food like it should.
Sometimes they get through it, mostly they don't.
Do you know if theres anything that might help? I've kept the heat light quite close for it despite being too low for the others.
