So I was doing a little wondering & would like to throw this out and get some feedback. Please explain in detail any learned chicken behavior you have observed. Anything that would possibly be out of the realm of ordinary.

Say for example you have witnessed a particular chicken that could open a door, or peck you on the leg when it wanted a treat, or to be rubbed under the chin/ picked up, whatever, get my drift?

Not really looking for scientific explanations as to their intelligence but what you have experienced that may have gone against what the books say.

Was just wondering if there is more than meets the eye, so induldge me with your stories, or not, of course I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Thanks!

i dont think that this counts but they always run to their coop door when i go outside. i even show them that i dont have anything but it might be because i give them hugs..........
