RuffledFeathers might be on to something. Do chipmunks come out at night? Might it be something else? I've had the squirrels here eat through a rubbermaid can to get at the peanuts, but won't touch the layer pellets or scratch. I don't even have a lid on it. Yes that lid is on the peanuts now.
