Stupid Hawk

Does anyone know how to get rid of a hawk it has gotten a few of my chickens. I watched it today as it landed next to one of my chickens luckily I chased it off before it got another one. It is very brave. Any suggestions??

Pen with a net is the only way to deter a hawk. Once they know where the buffet is, they are not apt to walk away hungry.

You can't get rid of a hawk (legally). You should take precautions to protect your birds so the hawk can't get to them.

Sometimes encouraging ravens,crows,bluejays,or mockingbirds to slay around your house will help.These birds will most of the time chase a hawk or owl out of their territory.I feed the mockingbirds around my house and they chase hawks out of my yard.But you should make a covered area for your birds and see how that works out. The mockingbirds here are real aggressive and sometimes chase and divebomb my sister's cat.

They have the coop and they are almost always foraging in the woods. But somehow they got spotted and now the hawk keeps coming back. Luckily we haven't seen it today so I hope it migrated.
