Stupid question alert...

OK; so we built this roost; hubby did it to where they didnt poop on each other at night..

so what do they do??? face the wall and sit with their butts hanging over the heads of the ones
below..

do I have special birds or is this something I should have known????

right but they all face the wall...so is it agreed; my chickens are umm..unique??? LOL...

is there anyway to correct this behavior??

of course my only Roo is the first one on the roost and he's the one who started it!!

you should lower the whole thing a bit, lowering it will make the roosts a bit wider so they wont poop on each other.
