Stupid question re mutt chickens

If I have a RIR over a white egg laying chicken, can the hen lay pale, light brown eggs? I have an Appenzeller Spitz that lays eggs that look just like my Silkie's eggs. I know it's a dumb question, but humor me, please?

Are you asking if the type of roo will affect the hens egg color or if it will affect the egg color of any chicks you hatch from her? It's no to the first and yes to the second. My RIR's lay eggs ranging from a medium brown to light brown.
