Can I join in to the thread(probably a stupid question, but I'm in the right thread for it)? I have a few stupid questions of my own.

Of course you can join. Every stupid question is welcome. I have to warn you though, there is a dress code, lol.

Ohhhh that is one humungous rat! I think the meat in my compost must have attracted it, lol. Weren't Chihuahuas bred to hunt them, lol?

crunchy, or soft and silky with ridges, depending on the season, and the tree.

We were talking about what chickens are allowed to eat out of the compost pile and we learned that leaves are good and meat is bad. To answer your thread appropriate question.....I guess you have to be a leaf to know a leaf, lol.

why is there meat in your compost, is it considered green or brown matter, I think Chihuahuas were bred to chase tacos.

Well there could be a couple of reasons......
1. you didn't chose the "large" option when you uploaded it.
2. maybe it was small to start with

Well there isn't any meat in there any more after what I learned in this informative thread. Apparently among other things, it attracts Chihuahua sized rats, lol.
