I'm so dumb! Went to add water to the incubator and the lid slipped and cracked an egg! A perfectly good 13 day embryo inside!
I sealed the crack with beeswax right away. Thank God for this forum or I wouldn't have known to do that! I'm going to have to help this little guy out for sure if it survives!

Try not to beat yourself up! I think sometimes when we're trying to be extra careful, that's when things like this happen. Crossed fingers that it'll survive!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

If that membrane was still intact you have a good chance of a hatch I think.....

The membrane was intact. It was just a tap but it did damage.
