Styrofoam or plastic incubators

I would like to be able to hatch 10-20 eggs at a time (next year). I read that using Styrofoam is not recommended for repeated usage, because you can't disinfected good enough. I really don't want to rebuild/replace the incubator every time or two. Plastic incubators would allow me the ability to disinfect thoroughly but have you seen the prices..ouch!

If you have or use a Styrofoam, how is it working for you? Are you able to clean it thoroughly? How many times have you used the same one?

Any suggestions for an alternative to the Styrofoam and still being able to keep my first born child?

I have used bleach water to clean with no problems.

Thats what I do too after I wash it with Dawn first to get the gunk out lol

My 1602N hova bator has a plastic pan in the bottom it is really easy to clean.

I have 2 Hovabator 1588's. They can be cleaned well with a bit of soap and water/bleach. The trays and screen are what really gets nasty and they are plastic and metal so they go right in the sink. Plus, you can hatch up to 40 eggs or just a few if that's what you want. Less eggs, easier clean up.
