You amaze me with all you do! Thank you for being willing to take the time to share so much of what you know with the rest of us! The wonder dust is working great on Nelda's neck. She's back to eating and drinking and the black moldy spots have healed up because of the switch to the dusting powder. I am glad to read your posts always... keep sharing!

I know this is an older thread, but I was searching and searching and stumbled upon this very informative thread. From the info provided here I think this may be my chick's problem.

I'm wondering if I should do something for this chick, or if I should just wait and see how it goes. I'm wondering what signs I'm watching for and at what point it becomes serious.

The chick is 8 days old now, the biggest of the hatch and eating and drinking just fine. The spot on its rear isn't getting any smaller.
