Well I was originally going to build an A-frame type chicken coop and a square run. Then I realized my saw wouldn't allow me to cut the appropriate angles for an A-frame this is what resulted.
The coop is going to have running water. With an automatic waterer that I built from ideas found on here.
The waterer consists of a 5 gallon food grade bucket, with an outlet that is Y'ed for multi use. And a universal toilet float to manage the water level.
I also pre-installed a poultry watering system using the red watering nipples for when my RIRs get big enough.
I am going to make a 5 gallon feeder I saw on here at some point too using a bucket and PVC pipe.
Have some clean up to do but I've got about a month before my RIRs will go to the coop, the day-olds come Thursday!
