He likes the bow for the challenge. But he also hunts with gun and muzzle loader.

The bow takes a different skill set and is more physically challenging. DH takes great pride in all of his kills, but the first buck of every bow season is special.

Someone asked about the hat I was wearing in the picture of me with the pistol. It's a gus crowned 5"brim, palm HECHO EN. I know it's a pretty big hat, but a regular 10 gallon hat doesn't throw enough shade.

Yep. I just finished canning him

We have a rule...only one mounted deer in the house so until he gets one bigger than the monster he has on the office wall, this is all he gets...a picture.

Since I posted my pic in the ladies thread, I think its only fair to subject my husband to having his pic posted here. After all, he looks after the chickens as much as I do.

Here is my handsome heart.

I know he looks young for age, he is 26, not 18.
