So about your tort... does he have a lady?? I want a baby tort.. and dont know any good breeders.. I had a sulcata..i miss him..
well the tortoise; Ulysses, is a 13-year old male sulcata.
raised him since he was the size of a PING PONG! couldn't of weighed more than a couple ounces.
so...10 years later, i'm hurting my back picking his monstrous butt up--he's gotta weigh at least 100lbs now.
unfortunately he doesn't have a lady in his life. but i'd love to find a female sulcata and hook my boy up. raise a buncha little torts.
nowadays he's just a beast that'll literally eat ANYTHING you throw in his pen.
here's a couple pix to whet your whistle...
This was 3 years ago. I had just bought my first Show Quality Pair of Cochins. That Rooster died a few days later. He ended up having a heart problem. The folks I got him from replaced him with another even better Splash Boy a few days after. The Black pullet I got at the same time is still here. "Noel" has a fairly impressive show record now.
Over the last 3 years I have gained even more weight and lost more hair. That will change in the next year no matter what I have to do. Well the weight, the hair I don't care about. I will shave it before I wear a rug or get try a replacement.
Need to catch the middle one though... is he the sneaky one?
Justino... pretty bird... but MY what big (sharp pointy canine) teeth you have!
Chseeads I never much thought of turkeys as being all that sweet and friendly but that pic just was SOO cute. Reminded me of my doggies, the way they'll nuzzle up on me and give me "The Face" Thanks for the enlightenment.
