Subsitute for exterior plywood for coop

OSB is a very good alternative to plywood, and cheaper, too. Just make sure to seal it well. My walk-in coop has OSB walls, floor and roof, sealed with a solid color waterproofing stain. It's been through a full year in the Northeast, including winter, and is holding up just fine.

but I cannot find 1/4" or 3/8" or 11/32" exterior plywood.
Doubt you'll find anything that thin that's rated for exterior or pressure treated.

I am trying to keep it light. My last one was two heavy.
Is this a chicken tractor a opposed to a stationary coop?

Thank you for all your suggestions. I have a plan, just got to see if it will work. If all goes well, I will save the $130 I had allocated for the wood.
Is weight or cost your main concern?

DennisS,

What did you finally use? I am in the exact same place you were. Hen Hideout frame is almost complete. I bought the pvc precovid and just getting around to assembly now, I did not prebuy lumber and now I'm in sticker shock.
