Man they weren't kidding, hatching show-quality call ducks is a harrowing experience. But it's all been worth it for this lil' guy. <3
 
Cute! I assume you are doing artificial hatching (incubator)? I prefer to let mama do all the work, especially with the call ducks. My call duck hen hatched out three last year, her daughter just gifted me with six healthy ducklings five weeks ago...and left bruises on me every day from the time she started sitting until they were a couple weeks old.
