There's one breeder about 400 miles or more away here in Alaska, but does not ship chicks. I'd like to know the experiences of interior Alaska people in ordering live chicks from outside. Good, bad, which hatchery, etc. Thanks. (My feed store chicks, um, are not quite like the breeds they are purported to be. A black Australorp with bits of white?)
