Thanks to all the advice I received here on byc about making an incubator, and what to do during the incubation period, I had 1 pheasant egg hatch early this morning. Some of the others have pipped, and hopfully more will be out and about. thanks again.

My diningroom is now a hatchery...3 incubators cover the table, and 2 brooders are underneath

Guess its a good thing we don't entertain much, and we usually eat on the front porch

You're not kidding, I keep my incubator on the pool table in the basement, the grandkids don't like it, but oh well. Now I'm going down there all the time instead of 3x a day to turn them. think I'll go down now. Thanks

Got 5 now, 4 hatched at the same time about 10am. Need to know if they will start to eat and drink on their own, or is there something I have to do. Thanks

Looks like there's only going to be 5 it's been 2 days since they've hatched, and the other 7 eggs haven't done anything.
