Sudden death

My New Hampshire red dropped dead 30 minutes after I checked on them. No marks. Just died. Help!

Search "sudden death" in the box at the top of the page. There are several threads on this site about this topic that might be helpful. If you really want to know what happened, you should get you a necropsy done. Wrap the hen in a plastic bag and put her in the refrigerator (NOT the freezer) and then you can research whether your state agricultural extension will do a necropsy.

Good advice from animalgrl in that necropsy is going to be your only real way of knowing for sure what happened.
