Hello,

I just had my two month old Harley Quinn female die with no warning. She had most of her adult feathers, she's had niacin since day 1, she was dry(there was water available to drink but she herself was not wet), and she wasn't showing any signs of anything. She was fine last night and when I went in this morning to feed and water she was dead. I'm at a loss, I've been super attentive with this flock and am having horrible luck. I also have one with bowed legs that has had niacin since day 1, it gets around and acts fine but doesn't make sense why it's legs are bowed.
Please help, I feel like I'm completely failing these babies and I don't know how.

I was using durvet vitamin and electrolytes but the stores around us were having issues with keeping it in stock so we switched to feed that has the niacin in it.
Was this what you were using?

Sorry to hear that you've had such bad luck!

What breed are they, how old, what do they eat and what is your brooder set up like?
I have a variety of breeds, I have blue and black Swedish, fawn and white, black, and blue runners, Harley Quinn, mallard/Pekin mixes, Cayuga, and magpies. The Harley Quinn is what died and a black Swedish is the one with bowed legs. They have duck feed formulated with the needed niacin in it that they are eating and right now the two month olds are in a 8 by 10 run in the barn, the younger ones are in stock tanks. All coop areas are layered with wood shavings and have food and water readily accessible. The two month olds are getting big and all have their adult feathers so I was about to put them with my 6 adults in the outside coop until this happened.
